GHANA TRADE HOUSE MARKS ANNIVERSARY
- The Ghana Trade House has provided an essential outlet for Ghanaian exporters into Eastern Africa’s fast-growing markets, with over 250 varieties of Ghanaian products
The Ghana Trade House in Nairobi, Kenya, will celebrate its anniversary with a week-long series of activities starting in October 2024.
The one-week anniversary will feature activities in Kenya and Tanzania from October 6th to 14th, 2024. These include activations in Nairobi and Mombasa, a business forum in Dar es Salaam, a Ghana food bazaar, and the grand durbar at the facility at the Sameer Business Park.
Ghana Trade House Manager Maureen Njuku says the initiative is the first in East Africa and aims to increase intra-African trade, exploit new market opportunities, and foster closer economic relations throughout the continent.
“The state-of-the-art facility at Sameer Park ensures a smooth and up-to-date experience for suppliers and consumers, reflecting the latest infrastructure to facilitate exporting,” said Maureen.

GEPA’s vision extends beyond Nairobi to replicate this model in other African countries, targeting key markets crucial to the growth of Ghana’s NTEs. Over the next few years, GEPA intends to expand operations, diversify its product offerings, and consolidate its relationships with Kenyan businesses and consumers.
